Matthew Renze is a AI consultant, author, and public speaker.
As the founder of Renze Consulting, he has trained over 500,000 software developers and IT professionals. He’s delivered over 200 keynotes, presentations, and workshops on every continent in the world (including Antarctica). His clients include several Fortune 500 companies around the globe.
He is also the President of Serenze Global, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to technology education for under-represented individuals by empowering the next generation of tech community leaders.
Matthew is currently finishing his Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence with a Data Science specialization at Johns Hopkins University. He currently has double degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy with a minor in Economics from Iowa State University.
He is a Microsoft MVP in AI, a Microsoft Regional Director, an organizer of the Las Vegas AI Meetup, and an author for Pluralsight, Udemy, and Skillshare.
His interests include AI, ML, data science, mindfulness, technology education, and tech community leadership.
We're beginning to enter the era of artificial intelligence -- a future where machines will be doing much of the work of value in our economy. Unfortunately, many of us are completely unprepared for the significant transition that is right in front of us. As a result, we're going to be facing a multitude of social, economic, and political problems on a global scale in the coming decades. So, I'm currently doing what I can to educate people about these technologies so that we are prepared, as individuals, as organizations, and as a global society for the coming wave of AI-enabled automation. We want artificial intelligence to empower us... not to enslave us!
